MAKING A DIFFERENCE TO YOUR PAIN
All pain is best relieved by treating the cause. I treat acute- and chronic muscular pain and neurological symptoms. Via light touch, it is my job to get your muscles “out of prison”, to give you pain relief and to increase your optimal range of motion. It is common for clients to experience prompt positive changes during their first appointments. If you suffer from chronic muscular pain, an appraisal of your lifestyle, stress levels, nutrition, work environment and exercise programme is beneficial for your recovery and forms part of my multi-disciplinary treatment approach.
EXCELLENT SERVICE AND AFTER-CARE
No ‘back- to- back’ appointments! If rest is beneficial to your condition, I use my discretion and advise you of extra time to unwind. Some clients who travel for about 45-60 minutes to receive treatment have welcomed and benefitted from this service. I email any follow up advice, recommendations or exercises for your reference.
TREATMENT LOCATION - ST. MAWES IN CORNWALL
Parking is easy with available spaces in close proximity of my treatment room. The picturesque village of St Mawes, its scenery and undulating coastline made St Mawes the choice location for ‘Poldark’, a very popular series on television. In St Mawes you will find a range of facilities such as cafes, restaurants, shops, hotels and bars located around the harbour. St Mawes also has a busy Sailing Club and a recreational ground with tennis courts which can be rented, located close to the harbour. St Mawes castle on the outskirts of the village was built by Henry XII in the 16th Century and is the twin to the Pendennis Castle located across the Carrick Roads in Falmouth. From St. Mawes castle and about two miles away along the coast line, is the St Just in Roseland church which has been described as the most beautiful churchyard on earth. Surrounded by the sea and gentle hills St. Mawes on the Roseland Peninsula is a spectacular place to visit.
TREATMENTS AT YOUR HOME
Based in St. Mawes on the Roseland I offer a mobile treatment service for acute and chronic muscular pain relief, neuro- symptoms and movement restrictions across Cornwall. Travel expenses outside a 6-mile radius from St. Mawes are charged extra at 45p per mile and additional King Harry Ferry charges apply.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
I accept payment by cash or BACS. Please be reminded to reschedule your appointment or to give me a 24hours notice of cancellation. Missed appointments without prior notification are noted and may result in discharge. Discounted six-treatment packages are non-refundable. Each treatment must be booked within a four-week period after which full treatment charges apply. Individual circumstances are considered and changes to any of the above are at my discretion.
“I first met Andrea Vallance in October 2015. She was recommended by my wife, Sue, who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis. Sue continues to be very impressed with Andrea’s work and still benefits from ongoing treatments today. Inspired by positive changes in her, I decided to see Andrea for my chronic back pain.
I have had problems with my back since 1997 when I was in a car accident, hit my head, broke my collarbone and twisted my back. In the past I have seen osteopaths and physiotherapists who have helped me but I am still left with back pain. When I first saw Andrea, I suffered from pins and needles in my right hand, sometimes in my left hand too. There were also problems with my posture, movement range and the way I walk.
Over the past months I have benefitted hugely from her wide-ranging treatments and her useful lifestyle recommendations. I work full-time, am a father to a 4-year-old and a carer. Andrea is very aware of this and she gives me both symptom relief and relaxation. She is capable, intuitive and professional.”
